On Saturday 20th January Brinklow's Wurzel Bush Folk Club starts the new year with an extra special attraction. Two of the founding members of a group that enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the 1970s and into the 1980's are amongst the line up when The Bully Wee Band makes its first appearance in this area for over twenty years. The original members being Colin Reece - Vocals and Guitars and Jim Yardley - Vocals, Mandolin and Whistles who will be joined by Ian Cutler - Violin and Keyboards who originally joined the band in 1975 and Fergus Feely - Vocals and Cello Mandolin who came part of the line up in 1976. A chance encounter in 2003 resulted in Colin Reece, Ian Cutler & Fergus Feely setting off in January 2004, over 20 years after their farewell performance, on a reunion tour of the south of England. So successful was the 2004 tour that the three contacted original Bully Wee founder member Jim Yardley and included him to repeat the experience in January 2005 and 2006.

So with three very successful 'reunion' tours under it's belt the band has come to the conclusion that, having gone through the reunion stage, it should now be considered to be finally reunited. The band have even released a new album just in time for their 2007 tour. Called The album is called '50 channels - live' and features eight brand new, never before recorded Bully Wee Band songs and tunes along with seven Bully Wee Band favourites from their extensive 36 year repertoire. All given the band's unique 2006 live treatment. MP3 sample downloads can be found on the web at http://www.colinreece.co.uk/bully_wee_band_2004.htm#e
